When I think back about the last couple of years spent with Rob, many memories come back but the one I think I will always remember is the night we played Anoka and won, but still had to stay after and skate 21 killers. The best advice my parents gave me is... To always work my hardest and not to worry about other people, just focus on what I need to work on and make sure that I'm doing what I'm supposed to and that I'm giving it my best; If I do that I will most likely be successful. Advice I would give to the younger players is... To just practice as much as you can, and when you do, do it hard. Practicing at half speed won't do you any good. Also, just go out there and have fun! If you make a mistake, learn from it and move on. The person that has most influenced my hockey career is... My brother Travis. I have always looked up to him and sort of idolized him. Because he has been successful in his hockey career I want to follow in his footsteps and be as good, if not better than him; I always tell him I'm going to beat him at every thing I do. Thinking about it now, Malee Windmeier has also had some impact on me the last couple years and my experience playing with her will be an unforgettable one. To me, the "Cardinal Code" means... To work hard and improve more than our opponents every single day. Teamwork is a big thing; we win as a team, we lose as a team. I think it means becoming a family and wanting our teammates to be successful.
Dear Mom and Dad, It's so hard to believe that this is finally my senior year. I just want to thank you guys for how much time, money and support you have put into my hockey career. Having you guys in the stands every game means so much to me. Dad, even though you're always giving me little hand gestures during the game (sometimes it bugs me) for some reason I still always tend to look up at you and try to do those little things my next shift out. I also want to thank you for being so hard on me because I know all you want is for me to be successful and happy. You guys mean the world to me! I don't know where I would be without you! Love Always, Molly
Dear Molly, We are most proud of you for your determination to keep working year after year, with the tough conditioning program that your coach has you all do, to be in the absolute best possible shape you can be in for those tough games we know you'll be involved in. I'm sure your going to need it this season as a senior. All the time and work you put into this great sport, will pay off for you in many ways, and already has. To go through this part of your life with the success you've had, and keep your grades up, is something your mother and I are very proud of you for. And oh yea, thank you so much for the life time of memories you've given us all. Especially that very special "05-06" season, but also every U-12 practice you skated so hard in through all the fun and exciting games and tourneys you and the good friends you've made, were a part of. We truly enjoyed watching you grow into a very good hockey player and a fine young lady we couldn't be more proud of. Best of luck in this, your final season. We are excited to get it underway but don't want to see it end. We love you so very much! Mom & Dad P.S. Can I take her to N.Y. Rob ???
